Carrots Nutrition

Read up an article from the internet, surprising that carrots were so good and nutrition for our body. Carrots have many important vitamins and minerals. They are rich in antioxidants Beta Carotene, Alpha Carotene, Phytochemicals and Glutathione, Calcium and Potassium, and vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and E, which are also considered antioxidants, protecting as well as nourishing the skin. They contain a form of calcium easily absorbed by the body. Finally they also contain Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorous.and Sulphur.

Carrots benefit our bodies by:

* Boosting immunity (especially among older people).
* Reducing photosensitivity (beta-carotene protects the skin from sun damage).
* Improving symptoms of HIV.
* Easing alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
* Helping to heal minor wounds and injuries.
* Reducing the risk of heart disease.
* Reducing the risk of high blood pressure.
* Cleansing the liver, and when consumed regularly, can help the liver excrete fats and bile.
* Fighting bronchitis.
* Fighting infection (vitamin A keeps cell membranes healthy, making them stronger against disease-causing microorganisms)
* Improving muscle, flesh, and skin health.
* Helping fight aneamia.
* Reducing acne.
* Improving eye health.
* Low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol
* High in Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Potassium, Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate and Manganese

If the nutrition was so good for us as human for consumption why not feed carrots for our beloved goldfish, it enhanced the colour of goldfish too. I have personally fed them with carrots, I should say the result is impressive.

Goldfish Stamps

The above goldfish stamps tell a thousand words of the individual country having Goldfish printed as stamps for their postage. It shows that these countries are supportive and promotive of goldfish culture in their country last but not less not forgetting the originate country China. The Chinese have the liking of Goldfish cause this is the hobby which created by our ancestor few hundred or thousand years ago. As for Singapore, I have not personally came across goldfish printed as stamp and distributed within the country for postage used. Hope that there will be a day whereby I able to see distribution of Goldfish Stamp within my country.

Red Bean Goldfish Food

I'm using full cook red bean as goldfish food for my fish, prepared to peel off the skin . They really love it and it good for goldfish having bladder problem. Have tested myself with 1 of my floating oranda & now she back to normal again without any problem in swimming around. Last but not less, it acts as colour enhancement for my goldies too which give me a bright red/orange deep colour.
